I have a 67 cutlass in my garage, im in the process of cleaning it up and getting it ready to tear up the streets again lol, so as me and my dad are jacking up the rear he notices i have a 12 bolt rear end. and for some reason he thinks because i have a 12 bolt that i might not have a 330 under the hood. according to the vin number its a holiday cruiser with a v8 in it. i cant find numbers on the motor anywhere cept infront of the right cylinder head but they dont match anything i can find online, the numbers on the cylinder head are W477635L i have a two barrel carberator also, im just not positive what motor i have in the car, can anyone help me out? maybe there are numbers someplace im not looking? i dont know if it helps any but i have a 3 speed automatic. thanks guys

the 67 came with a 330. 400 and 425 were not options for the Cutlass.
You can check Olds Faq online, they will probably have the vin#'s you have listed to give you the info you need.

yeaa it probably is a 330, i would just think there would be something less heavy duty in the car than a 12 bolt rear for a 330, i could also determine if its a small block by mesuring the distance between the heads rite? its 12" for a small block and 14" for a big block rite? any other ways i can tell its a 330 by looking at it? thanks for the help!

I just checked my 1970's Chilton manual and the W code on the front on front of the cylinder head shows that it is a 67 330.
