well guys..

i think im gonna get rid of my hatchie pretty soon...its been nickel and diming me too much lately, and now my tranny is pretty much toast, leaving me without first and reverse, and second is tough to get into. I wanted to swap, but never can get my engine cause the sellers flake(go figure), so im not even gonna persue it anymore :( I also have no reason to swap and turbo it like i was planning, i mean all ill do is get pulled over even more, and have to find a hookup every year for emissions/safety. not to mention little fags running around tryin to steal your car/parts. should I part it, or sell it as it is? Its a 91 with like 125k on the clock, with no rust on the body, just a few dings here and there, and some rock chips on the hood. interiors in good shape other than the headliner(previous owner had some comp. stereo in it, and cut the headliner to make room for cylinders to lift the side windows up.) how much do you think i could get? think I could get more out of it by parting it? let me know what you think

any performance parts on it? it sounds like it's not too easy to drive, so the next person may want it for a swap. I guess you could shop it around for a little while and maybe come across from someone that just wants a shell, otherwise you may want to find another tranny if your gonna sell it as a whole (figuring that the next owner wants it drivable and reliable). Finding another tranny may not be the hardest thing and maybe not too expensive either. I just gave mine away...I know it was stupid, but it was a friend and he can hook me up with some stuff at cost hopefully. I'm sorry to hear about the problems and you having to get rid of your hatch. Any idea on your next ride? You still gonna hang around AF even if your 4g is gone? good luck, hopefully you get some decent cash out of her whatever route you go.

its got an obx axle back on it, and an aem intake. neuspeed springs, and cross drilled front rotors, and rear disks. it has the 17 inch tantrums on it, although im most likely taking them off and selling those separately.
im considering just throwing another tranny on it, just so I can trade it in or sell it for a little more, but who knows. As for what car im gonna get, I have no idea. I was considering an audi a4 1.8t quattro, but my main concern is its reliability. im picking up a mtn bike wednesday to get me around through the summer, while i save some money up and decide what im going to get. ill still be around here trying to help when i can(im addicted :o )

maybe take advantage of one of those guaranteed 4k trade-in deals. Obviously strip all the cool parts, including the rear discs. I bet they wont give a shit what performance parts you have on that thing.

the fact i cant get an engine, along with the fact that when i do decide to sell, all my money will be down the drain because no one will buy it for more than the book anyways. oh yeah, my first gear started working today....for now...my reverse works too...i get out and push it backwards:finger:

now my reverse is working again, and my tranny isnt making noise and it seems like nothing happened :confused: for now anyways :D ...and to make it worse, my turbo arrived in the mail today, and that thing is huge! maybe ill try once more getting my engine/tranny swapped out, and throwing the turbo on there :o
this damn car and me have a love/hate relationship im tellin ya

Its cause you threatened to sell it or dissassemble it piece by piece... Cars know...
