I found a place here in town where i can buy 101 octane. Would that help anything in my 91 ls. I usually have 91 octane in it.

not necessary at all for your ls. It would only help if your at the tracks, kinda like race gas.

If I am not mistaken the only time you would see a difference in switching octane like that is if you were boosting or running high compression. Higher octane, takes more compression before it ignites than lower octanes. Less knocking I guess? I don't see any benefit of running 101 at all on a stock motor.

Lemme know if this is completely wrong.

higher octane allows you to advance timing.

100 + octane on a stock b18 = is pointless to me.

your not putting that turbo on an integra are you? thats huge do you have all of the stuff needed to support that size turbo. For that matter will it even fit in your engine bay. God i wish my new turbo was that size

i still use regular gas and it's 289 in CT. crazy to use anything else!
if you chip your car to do a 100 octane program that would make a huge difference but don't use it unless you're racing. and don't fill a lot in. just 2 or 3 gallons if you're street racing. that way you can just fill up on 93 or whatever you use.

Yes It's for my Integra. It really is not that big it's a GT3071 .63 ar. It's one of the smaller turbos in the GT30 family. I am looking for around 450whp and with this turbo I should reach full boost by somwhere around 4000rpm maybe even a little sooner. I am in the process of building a gsr engine to handle all the power. I am building it for a lot more power than this turbo can put out though, just incase the boost bug bites me and I swap out this turbo for something bigger, like a gt35R or gt40R.

all in the setup drag springs and an X member make a world of diffrence just gotta pray and you might spin only 1st.

I've driven my self a 500 HP rex that could easly spin 5th with power but thanks to his setup 3rd and some of 2nd you have full on.

alot of people who set up leave out tuning springs shocks etc just slapping in an LSD helps a bunch but there is alot more that can be done.

Yes FFs will always have most trouble i'm just stating you can semi compensate for it nothing like getting a AWD or RWD out of the hole so im' told :smile:
