I need to replace the front grill to my 1968 chevellle 2 dr malibu coupe. How do I go about this? do I need to remove the complete bumper?

No, no need to remove bumper. You remove the headlight bezels, the triangular grill end pieces on each side, and i think that's about it. A regular phillips screwdriver gets most of the fasteners. But you will need a short stubby phillips to get at a few of them. The center of the grille may have a 7/16 bolt going upward into the hood header panel. About a dozen fasteners total. But the headlights and the bumper stay in place. Be carefull tightening the new grille on afterward, it's just old metal in many places that strips threads easily. But overall one of the easier jobs to do.
