I have a 00 Cv pi with 200k miles on it, but it has been burning oil (at different rates lately) and alot of white smoke has been coming out of the exhaust pipes, also after I took it to a mechanic to have the spark plugs changed, we noticed that the ignition coils on the left side (by the battery) were in bad shape and looked like they were somehow burned further inspection revealed that the battery might have had an explosion (didnt know that was possible) and acid had burned the coils and as a result created misfiring on the left side plugs. was wondering could this cause the burning of oil since the pistons on the right side were being overused, or is that a more seriouse problem like valves or my rings? I have been also having problems when accelaring between 45-60 if I floor the gas pedle I can hear/feel the rpm increase but the car isnt going anywher/accelarating but when I press the pedle normally it accelarates just fine, could this be related or is this a transmission problem? I am not that knowlegablel when it comes to cars so any help would be appreciated thanks

What color is you oil? Because If white smoke comes from the exhaust then you are burning coolant. And a minor problem to burn coolant is bad cyclinder head gaskets, or major problem is a crack in the block around the combustion chambers. If it is a blueish white smoke then you are burning oil. And one of three reasons causes you to burn oil PCV is clogged, Bad valve seals or bad piston rings.
