mine did the same thing very annoying. some crappy plastic part in the airbag is faulty dealer wants 200. i disconnected the fuse. light stays on but no noise.

if the airbag light comes on and off for some reason, that's a serious fault in the SRS system and could not work in the event of a collision, meaning no airbags in an accident. You should get that checked out immediately. If your turn signals don't work, cruise control, and horn, then it's more than likely a bad clockspring that sits inside of the steering wheel. If not, it could a bad module, crash sensor or the wiring.
