Hey i was looking to put bigger tires on my blazer. I have a 95 chevy blazer 4 door. I wanted to get a lift kit but they were a little out of my price range starting at 500 for a 2". I also wanted to put 17" wheels on it as well, but i didn't know what the max size tire i could go would be. If anyone could help I would be very happy.

Thanks

I used to work at America's Tire, and the biggest we'd ever put on a S-10 Blazer with Stock suspension was 32"x9.5". At that size, it rubs your wheel wells a lot! I put a 30x9.5 inch on mine and only had rubbing problems on hard right turns. You wanna save money on a lift, Go buy blocks and put 'em in yourself. It's not hard; even for a beginner. (If you have the right tools!) A set of blocks and U-Bolts usually costs about $30. Only problem is, you can't go past 2 inches without having to adjust or replace other things, like your drive-shaft.

I did a combination lift , The two inch suspension and a three inch body on my 89 blazer. If you want a little height with a little money . You can do a body lift for under $100 . It can give you extra clearance for larger tires. I have 31x10.50x15 tires and I have a little rub when turned to lock with stock wheels . I gained a total of seven inches to the driver seat . And did it all at home in my driveway alone .good luck. Rob
