Yet another 300ZX build. Seems to be a popular kit this month.
This is my 2nd and a 1/2 model (1/2 was a porsche gt1 with prepainted body).
The body was done in tamiya TS black to simulate the 1990TT Diamond Black Pearl I used to own.
This model marked the first time for me trying flocking, polish, using an airbrush and adding additional details to a model.
Here's a shot of the engine. Not complete yet. Still need to scratchbuild the fuel filter and cruise control unit. Added turbo piping, upper and lower radiator hoses and various wires and piping.

The body after clearcoat, polish and wax:

The interior was flocked with detail master dark grey. T-Top straps are made up of Studio 27 seatbelt material trimmed to size. Interior was airbrushed with a custom mix of flat black and german grey that closely matched the charcoal leather interior of the Z. German grey was also used for the two tone. Various shades of black was used to detail the steering wheel, shifter, shifter boot , center console and instrument housing.

Not quite finish. Need to redo the hood again. Pin mark showed up after painting. It's going in the brake fluid again.

BTW, thanks to Hiroboy for putting up the window mask on his website. Saved me a whole bunch of time and headache.

Looks awesome. You can easily mistake that first shot for the real thing. Nothing too flashy, but very clean. Perfect
