Axles

I am almost finished my b16a swap on my 1990 si...except the axles...I have a SiR intermediate shaft (13 1/2 inches long) so i built my custom sir axles using 86-89 tegs with 90-93 teg cv joints, i put them in and they are way too long...the drivers side one is the worst, it makes loud snapping sounds in corners and goes clunk clunk clunk down the road (i havent driven over 30km/hr so i dont break anything). any ideas what i did wrong?? i took out the spacers, and the dust seals, and they are seated all the way, but theyre just way too long it seems...the inners are totally bottomed out...HELP!!??
