Well, I just need help with one small little item. I have a '92 Lumina, and I can't find the crankshaft position sensor on the car. So many websites have said it was located in the rear of the engine, between the engine and the transmission, sticking out of the block. Well it's so hard to see up there from beneath the car, as well as from up top. Was wondering if somebody knew exactly where I should be looking. Would help a bunch. Thanks!

what engine? 3.1 is towards the passengers side of the engine i believe, a 2.5 sensor is behind the Ign. modual and coil packs

here is a picture of a 3.1 crank sensor

It is a 3.1 engine. I've searched the entire exterior...and I've been told it's behind the bottom pulley of the accessory set-up.
