'98 Taurus AutoTransmission

Car initially goes into Drive. First mile, car seems to rev up but doesn't shift past 2nd or 3rd. After the first mile, works fine. After it sits for 4 or more hours, same thing. Had it on FORD machines, but didn't show anything.

HELP PLEASE!

It seems no one is willing to take a try at this problem!
