Painted Alclad 2 chameleon Prismatic Saphire (very interesting color). Added some wires to engine , flocking interior. Acu-Steon PE set.

Hi,

I enjoy to be bored by models like this :-) . It is just great !!!!!!!!!!!

Nevertheless 2 remarks:

The right wiper is not on the windscreen and the blue colour looks cloudy on the second last fotos, probably not in reality.

Yep, you right about wiper, but colour.... it's very hard to catch chameleon effect, so in some light conditions you can find cloudy effect. In reality this paint looks much more interesting :rolleyes:

Very nice, Iīm loving that first pic (great photography!) and yes that color is, ehm, interesting :D And BTW sportracer02 itīs not actually cloudy, itīs just like that when viewed from a certain angle.
All in all a very pretty Gallardo!

Yes, I think you are right. A photo cannot replace the real thing concerning these colours. Iīsure it looks fantastic in 1:1.

( Just look at a former thread of me of a New Beetle with effect colour - the same, metallic parts look huge on the photo and in scale on the model. )

Bore On! Yes, all the new paints don't photograph as well as they look in person. Problem solver, you pack up the model, and visit EVERY member of AF and show them this beauty!

Very easy - Acu-Steon photoetch on Future, sem-matt finish and remove finish from bolts and screws ;)
