i'm hearing (and feeling) a loud knocking, like something banging around in the rear passenger end when going over uneven ground. it's not really heard at all as long as the pavement is flat and the wheels stay even???? what could this be and how serious??

if you have lockers in the back make sure that they're completly unlocked, besides that i'm not sure what it could be

it could be a faulty shock , rubber bushing in the leaf springs worn out. Trans mount....

first thing I'd check would be the shocks, one of the mounting bolts could be loose.

Sounds like a shock issue to me too.

Makes sense, but check your wheel studs also. If they're cracked, or the wheel nuts are loose, it would make a loud clicking sound.

u might also check the u bolts on the rear end after lifting mine i had to retorque the u bolts several times and it also made a similar noise on uneven ground
