Start saving for a new engine? Other than that, not sure.

Damn that sucks.
Couldn't you tow it to your house, take off the AEM intake, try to dry out some of the components and put on the stock one, and then call Hyundai service and say your engine just went dead. :dunno:

I just threw that out there, but in all reality its not a bad idea really. Unless of course the Hyundai Tech guy is reading this.

since I bought my car used I don't have the 10 year 100000 mile warranty... wouldn't matter if I did though cause hydrolock isn't covered under warranty cause it's considered user error.... you were going to fast thru high water so it's your fault... warranty is only for parts malfunction

Maybe so, but there is always a way around the warranty b/s. Bring in a really hot chik, with Tig O' Bitties, long legs, and slightly teary eyed and have her spill some story about how she broke her brother's car (u being the brother of course.) That usually gets em, thought some require some under the desk persuasion...(pay the chick well.) lol.

Yeah but what is hyundai going to say when they open your engine and find it full of water?

The 10/100,000 doesn't transfer but the 60,000 mi. warranty applies to any owner.
