D1GP Drifting game??

Ok I've heard a lot of a d1GP game for PS2. I've seen it in game and car magazines. But when I look I only find it for Japan(as in only available in Japan). Is it going to come to the US?

only game i saw coming in the next few years that may even remotely be some for of drift game is called DT racer in mid september of this year.
