worst vibration ever

I have the worst vibrations ever. I live in Hawaii, the roads are horrible here, but my interior body panels vibrate excessively. No matter what I do I can't get them to stop. I have vibrations in my dash, vibrations in both doors, vibrations in the rear, my rear window/ hatch vibrates and squeaks, a squeak is coming from my front springs or somewhere around there, something is banging violently around under the engine driver's side. I can't even hear people talk when I go over a bad section of road. Does anyone have any creative ideas other than buying new interior body panels? Need help I hate driving my blazer now.

Move! hahaha just playing. I have the same issue. I have had door panels crack right off, noises I can't explain. You name it my rattle box has it! I have stopped some of the panels from cracking more with big washers and I have stopped frame squeeks and harsh leaf spring ride with white lithium grease

Volcanoes and earth quakes messing up your roads . But the senery is nice , I suppose . I have a coworker heading to Pearl next month. I have a posible solution to the interior squeeks . I had to tear apart a dash on my Jeep Cherokee last week and everywhere there was a screw to hold parts together , there was a small peice of glue-back felt to reduce squeek , But my blazer squeeks and rettles too , and I am going to get some from a craft store and try it . Just a thought . Rob

Put an old rag between your spare tire and the panel too , I did on my 89 . It helped . Rob

He he 10mpg! yes it is truly amazing! haha kidding of course. I guess we just have to live with the rattles and noise sometimes. It takes a lot of effort and time and most of patience to find the little noise that we hear as the owners that some may not.

This blazer forum is so awesome, with the funny jabs that all us blazer owns know too well, i voted for the damned rear window squeak because i just dont know how to stop it...LOL. But i was abled to fix the passenger seat shuffle by placing an empty CD case in between the center console and the corner of the seat, it works rather well and you could really place anything in there to make up the slack.

"Also check your hood for the clunk."
Hell if i could revote id go with metal hood clunk, because I tryed EVERYTHING to fix this problem, just gave up thinking it was either just a normal "Blazer" noise, or my front Push Bar and similar to all my frikin interior noises. After i read this amazing thread, I put some shop rags in the jamb of the hood to identify it and i could NOT believe it, it is so quite on bumps now, it really restored my faith in the Blazer ride quality. Will be getting the new washers ASAP!!
!!!THANKS AGAIN FOR THIS HEADACHE CURING INFORMATION!!!

To expand upon the hood clunk, if you think about it, since this is a pretty common Blazer problem 95 and up it is almost like they put this in there to sell front end parts or something. I mean not to be a conspiracy nut or nothing. But as one guy posted saying the parts guy said it might not fix his problem, seems a little strange. Also as another guy put it, if they would just tell every customer maybee we would have love for our blazers great ride. Which after i put the rag in the jamb trick, it was a beautiful ride for the first time ever. It rivals my dads park avenue now hehe.
