i have 95 del sol... and when i purchased the car, it came with these rims w/ tires, the size 205/60r13... now correct me if i am wrong, the smallest size tires and rims i should be driving this del sol are 175/70/30... i went to sears the other day.. and the sales guy told me, my tires are way too small... he say's and i quote... my rotors are not getting enough air... and i am only getting about 20% traction... is this sales person right? should i get a set of new rims and tires... i just need'em for winter... so yea... if anyone can help... it be awesome... thanks...

dude never thought the width reached 205 with 13" tires.. unless it was for drag purposes for those deep dish wire spoke pimp rims lol.. for the most part.. dont believe the saleman.. thats his technic to pursaude u into buying a rim and tire package. and the OEM steelie recommended tire size is 175/70/13. what kind of rims do u have on ur Sol currently?

I have 205/50/R15 tires on 15" wheels. The tires on your car seen pretty wide for a 13" wheel.
91 Civic 1.5 HB's right. Don't listen to the salesman - he doesn't know what he's talking about or is trying to get you to buy something. Your rotors are ventilated just fine from the factory. My only concern would be that your tires are too wide for your wheels, not too small which could cause inconsistent wear on the tires. I assume you have an S model since you have 13" wheels. Correct me if I'm wrong.
