Clutch or Tranny Problem

Here is the deal, i have had my clutch out three times this summer trying to get it to work right. the first time i had it out, i replaced the flywheel with a Fidanza aluminum unit. bolted in a ACT 2600# clutch and a SS slutch line. put my POS back together and it would feel like it was slipping from about 1800 RPM on up. so i am pissed. the only thing i could figure is i got a bad pressure plate. so i order a second ACT 2600# and install it. does the same thing. so now i really pissed and all i want to do is have the EVO Fairy come by during the night and convert the GSX to an EVO and solve all my problems. to my dissapointment this didnt happen. so this time i drive it for a 157 miles before tearing it appart again, with it slipping the whole time. when i tore it down the disk looked brand new. i didnt abuse it except on a few occasions where i was just pissed off at it. so i figure the only thing now that could be happening is i received a shyte flywheel from Fidanza and the step height was wrong. so i go over to my friends house and have him mill 20 thousandths of the step height. i figured with that much smush there isnt any way the POS couldn't not hook up. well i was wrong put it together and it still isnt grabbing. so my question is, is their anything inside the transaxle that could give the symtoms of a slipping clutch, but be a tranny problem? i am at a loss right now. any help would be appreciated. thanks Andy.
