90 240sx frame troubles

this 1990 240sx has some rust just starting on the frame, is there anything i can do about it to stop it that wont cost a huge amount of money?

donno how much it will cost , but i have the same problem with mine... exept that mine is right down rotten , ive got a welder from where i live to work on it , it'll cost me around 300 $
so some minor touch ups should'nt be that expensive

if you're removing rust and take chunks out of the frame, MAKE SURE you have it reinforced somewhat before and completely after cause it won't take much for you to bend the frame. i had chunks of rust taken out of my frame underneath and they welded shit on before and after to be sure it a)doesn't bend on the hoist and b) doesn't bend after its off the hoist and on the road. if there aren't any holes then try a light grind then slap some rust proofing on the exposed metal. rust proofing a rusted area won't do shit cause rust can't be stopped by it and you won't see it. so only hit the spots that have been ground
