in 4th period i read a article about monster trucks running 0-300 in less then 5 sec. is it possible for a monster truck or any car to do 0-300 in less then 5 secounds?

it was probably 300 meters. yes there is a type of car that can do it though. have you ever heard of a top fuel dragster? 1/4 mile in under 5 seconds finishing over 320 mph. I think a funny car would probably be able to do it also.

naw it was mph i read it like 5 times. i had no idea a monster truck could do 0-300 in the 4's. thats crazy.

it has to be a misprint. a top fuel dragster makes 8000 horsepower and weighs around 3000 pounds or less... a monster truck weighs about 3 or 4 times that and makes about 1500 horsepower. do the math.

edit: also, a top fuel dragster goes from zero to 100 miles per hour in eight tenths of a second. put that in your carb and burn it.
