I'm looking for a seat somewhat similar to this.. I thought maybe something similar would be in some Tamiya WRC or Touring Car kit out there..

anyway, any help would be much appreciated.

damn that thing looks uncomfortable.

Haven't seen any kits with seats like that most of the ones I have done have had Recaro seats or similar.

Actually, thats a drag racing seat, so try looking in some of the funnycar, or topfuel rail kits.

why don't tya try makin it- a bit of aluminuim plating (thin) or styrene vinyl or plastic, moulding putty paint and Bob's yur uncle!!!! (provided you have pics of the seat all around):flash:

Well, left turn racing-as in NASCAR has the Butler style seats very similat to the one you posted. Just a little modificationa nd it should look very close.

It's a Kirkey 20-degree-incline lightweight circle track seat frame (NASCAR), but it doesn't have the padding or cover on it. That framework would never be seen unless you visited to shop between races. Look to most any Monogram NASCAR kit for an accurate replica.
