Ok i just got my car back running after sitting up for 7months. Ok When i start my car, it almost dies(well does sometimes) Its misfiring real bad and giving me a p0300 code. I changed the plugs with the NGK7's and regaped them to .28 then put new MSD 8.5mm wires, still didnt help. I have ran two tanks of gas through it with fuel system treatment in it. Still same crap. I went to change the fuel filter today but can get the darn banjop bolt off the top(soaked the hell out of it).
Ok what are some other options.
Oh yea, i thought i was hearing a sparking sound under the hood but i found that it was the pcv checkvalve rattling(the ballbearing inside it) so i changed it and it still does it, mabe its just with it idleing bad its making it do that. Dont remeber hearing it before my car went down.

P0300 is a random/multiple cylinder misfire code if i'm not mistaken, it's probably the ignition coil.

Yea i hooked it up to my Pocketlogger and it read P0300 Multiple/random missfire code
and one time it read i think P0301 Misfire cylindar 1
I was thinking the coil too, but wanted to make sure before i spend $70
the coil is the same one that has been on the car since day one, but i took the wires off the coil part while it was running and it was sparking, dnt know if it may have been sparking out of sync though

That's not an accurate test though. Just because it's sparking doesn't mean the spark is strong enough to get to the spark plug or even through it. You would have to get a spark plug tester which requires 20,000 amps/volts(one or the other) to tell if its getting enough spark.

well its sparking, pretty good, but i think it may be sparking out of sync maybe. any idea of how to test it under the carport lol
