1984 camry suspension

does a 1984 camry have struts or shocks on the rear end? I keep getting mixed answers. When driving, there is a rubbing noise heard, usually when i hit a bump or something like that. i am almost sure it is the fenderwell rubbing on the tire, but i am not sure if it is the coil or the shock/strut, whichever it is. When i push down on the back of the vehicle, it springs back instantly, no sluggish return. But when i go over a speed bump, it bounces a bit more than usual. Any suggestions? I have only had this car a few days and so i am still learning about it more.
