91 seville bose stereo problem

i just bought a 91 seville with the bose stereo system thats not working...i have one rear speaker that works but sound blown.the front speakers dont work at all... i have yet to have time to dig into it to determine if its the stereo or speakers..i would like to keep the bose system , i have checked e-bay butwas unable to find a bose for a 91...my question is will another year or model stereo work in the 91??? aftermarket is not a option, the kit is n/a ..anyone have any info????? thanks
