In-dash Warning lights

Can anyone tell me how to reset the "Oil--Change Now" light on my dash display above the stereo (89 T-bird)? My owner's manual doesn't even mention the lights aside from saying that they're there. My Haynes guide is just as quiet. I've removed the assembly and looked it over to no avail, and every auto-mechanic I've talked to has no clue.
The last oil change was about 45 days ago, but not even the Ford Dealer's service guys around here have been able to help. Anyone have any ideas?

From what i remember you have to turn the key all the way to the on position (but don't start the engine). then you have to press and hold the button untill "oil" flashes and stops flashing.

Which button are you referring to? There is only a dash display, is there a button I'm missing?

On my T-Bird just above where the radio is, there is a section that shows fluid levels. One section displays if the fuel, washer, coolant, or oil levels are low. To the left of that the current oil condition is displayed. And on my car, to the left of the oil condition display, there is a button, this is the button i'm refering to.

.. or if that doesnt work, disconnect the battery, and connect it. It resets everything. Try it. It works.
