98 ram headlight issues... plz help

last nite i lost both of my headlights right in a row... the passenger one burned out then about an hour or so later i lost the drivers side... i replaced the bulbs today but they still dont go on... all other lights work fine... but the high beams only work when i hold the switch on... thinking that might be causing it i replaced that switch with a new one but got the same results... anyone run into this before? i'll take any suggestions you have

Maybe the daytime running light module is pooched.

You prolly need a headlight switch. mine did that on my 95 1500 and the brights would come and but i would have to hold the blinker switch back. you can go to auto zone and get one. i think mine costed around 20 bucks.
