Turboed Supercharger??

Now this maybe a stupid question, but... Can you put turbo on a supercharged engine?

I'm asking because there is an DC Acura Integra for sale with a Jackson Racing Supercharger in it. I like turbo. So I want to know if you can turbocharge a supercharged engine.

yes you could, but you would need to redo much of the engine bay setup to change from S/C to turbo. I would find a car that doesnt have a turbo or S/C and start from there.

you can turbocharger a supercharged engine, there have been a couple of threads on this subject, use the search button next time. you will gain instant power with the supercahrger with this system and you wont have the power robbing characteristic of the supercharger belt when you have the turbos flowing into the supercahrger. the disadvantage, it's usually very difficult to design one of these systems and the gains aren't very much especially if you're running a street car on pump gas. untill you run enough boost to actually feel the lag, then this system might be beneficial. since you already have the supercharger on it, i'd say go for it, you'll have something really unique and when people look under you hood they'll be flabergasted when they see both a supercharger and a turbocharger. if you go through with this, send me pics, it'd be awsome to see.

Oh it can be done, i saw a turbo and S/C diesal at work once. The only time we've had one come in but it is definatly possible, look at monooxides pic!

do a search in the video forum for truck burnout or something, it's a diesel truck with 2 engines in the back with twin turbo, supercharger and nitrous doing some major burnouts and stuff, if i find it ill post the link
