Cartooning?

I know im asking a whole lot here...but i was wondering if anyone would be willing to cartoon my car...i have some pretty good pictures of it...and dont worry it is a nice car...not just a neon or something...anyone...if anyone could help that would be great! Thanks in advance!

sorry, dunno how to cartoon, but i would have to say it does look like a nice car. nice and clean.

I could do something for ya.

could do a front view in the foreground, and a back view in the background.

yea your drawings are pretty damn sweet...if you want you can do what you want with the background ect...I was thinking of maybe getting the drawing to look like my cars drifting becuase...thats what i do...but yea if you could draw my car up or something that would be absolutly terrific!

btw if you need anymore angles ect...just let me know..

btw... those front two rectangular holes fill them in with some clear lights if you can...becuase those are suppose to be my turn signals..lol

not to keep asking for more and more...but in the cartooning can you make the car look like it has a widebody kit...becuase it does...lol thanks again..

just alittle critique...but the exhaust is on the wrong side and the ass picture...its on the left not the right...:D

OOPS on the exhuast! LOL. Ive been drawing this at work, So my mind set isnt all the way on drawing. But ya, i will fix that, As for the back view pic, ITs facing that way because the front view is facing left, back view facing right makes the picture come together more.

Platinum your work looks great... it's very clean and I'd like to learn that too. I'd use another way of cartooning them, but i really like how you do the lines and how you color them.

1. pencil
2. fineliner (outlines)
3. prismacolor

is that correct? How big are they?

I tend to make cartoons too small since I made my first on a cigarette box. I only did them on 10 x 10 cm up to now, they look strange and undetailed then. Not as clean as yours.

I also like what you said above. I feel the same way. Every drawing I do, i do for me. There's always something to improve. If there's someone who likes it afterwards - even better.

Driftking- Sorry I haven't had time to sit down and finish up the back end view and finish detail everything. Work will do that to ya. Once i find some time i will be sure to get this drawing done for ya.

Knightvision- Thanks for the kind words, I would make a tutorial but of late, i havent had much time to draw. I'm still exploring my options with diffrent cartoon car styles, The ones i have done recently are simalar to Cartooncars.com, thats where i first saw a cartoon car version, and really liked the way they looked, So i started drawing them like that, Now that i have done a few, Its just natural for me to do the wheels like that and at those angles.. I want to explore and Get my own style in cartooning, But like ive said, I really dont have much time to draw of late.

Yes, I used pencil first, then after pencil i clean up all my lines, And then i start using the prisma's. I'm still learning diffrent ways and diffrent techniques with the prisma's. They are my favorite medium to use.

Paper size for all my cartoons are standard 8 1/2 by 11 inches. Just normal computer paper ( LOL) ya, i know , i need some good paper.

I will try and get this cartoon done as soon as possible

Dude that's not your ride, you just took picts of someone else's ride.

I don't want to change the subject but your ride looks very nice.
It looks very fast; I can see that big cooler upfront.

I'm just curious to know more about what you did to your ride.

Update: Got both views done, now all i need to do is finish the rim, and then darken in the lines, and add shadows.

front tire on the rear end shot is lookin kinda funny...and on the front end shot...you have the intercooler there, but no inter cooler piping..front lights also? and not to be picky but on the rear shot the left side tail light looks alittle funny...(far left circle...)

I like those quirky abnormalities, it gives it a "personality" if you will

The front tire on the back view looks funny becuase you cant see it all the way.but i drew it out completly out, and it looked right when i had it drawn out, then erased my lines so that the front view covered it up.

As you know, this is just progress, you can tell i am not completly done with the 2 cars because i havent finish one of the rims, I know about the intercooler, and i know about the lights.. I wasnt asking for things i havent added yet, I was asking if the car looks good, meaning. The lines and porportions were right.I havent started to add any detail to it yet. And as for the back tail light, Thats where the outside circle tail light should be, just looks funny becuase its not shaded yet.

And stop saying, Not to be to picky, Becuase you and i both know, You are being picky, LOL. Not to get arrogant about this, But your not paying me any money for this, So why get picky? Im happy to draw for people, but when they start to become a bit demanding, It kind of turns my head a bit.
