Blazer interior lights

My 2000 Blazer's interior lights do not turn off. I also am having a problem with the OEM alarm which I think is due to the interior light problem.
Any ideas?

Mine is first gen, so it might be different than yours.
But if my back light is turned on both lights will always be left on, and it's easy to check
