2005 venture keyless

2005 venture. I have no remotes. The dealer says only one part number will work. Is this true? I have acquired a remote from another 2005 venture and dealer says it won't work.

I have read the programming instructions for remotes. Only go up to 2004. Is 2005 the same? If so which fuse is the BCM control fuse? I have no manual.

2005 is the same as 2004.

Do a search on e-bay. You will find a lot of keyfob available there, and at a very good price (much cheaper than if you purchase them from your GM dealership).
