p0440

Ok I have now put in my third fuel pump. OEM this time but I still keep getting the p0440 code after about 100-150 mile of resetting it. Any clues to where I should start?

ummmm fuel pump RELAY? maybe you didnt need those three pumps

P0440 is the evap emissions control system failure, sometimes caused by a loose or defective fuel cap, faulty purge solenoid, or a leak somewhere in the vapor control system.

The fuel pump has nothing to do with the P0440 code.

You need to check your EVAP system , not your fuel system.

Hope you saved your receipts.
