i was looking on www.nadaguides.com, mainly cause i was bored, and decided to look up my maro. the thing said that a 92 camaro rs heritage edition's average retail was $10,900 :screwy:. anyone else had any weird quotes on cars from that site? i tried to link straight to the quote and it kept messing up so if you want to look at it just go through the process. when you chose the if it's either rs coupe, z28, and so on the heritage edition is the one with the * beside it. if that's what i could get out of my camaro i'd definatly be like the bananna -----> :bananasmi

i paid 4200 for mine and the interior is mint and the clear coat is cracking a little, so i guess i could sell it for almost 11,000 and buy an ls1 :boink:

HAHA, i checked out the autoweb last just to see what the value on my car was in excellent condition (kelley blue book) and it was $1100, in excellent condition. I paid $1850 and it was f***** up. I got hosed.

those are the site i usually go to, but none of them gave the heritage edition as an option, all three of them are about the same on the regular 92 rs. i'm wondering if the heritage edition doesn't add to the price a good bit.

Thats awesome that you can get that much for your maro. I came close to getting a heritage package, but i really wanted an iroc, badly, and the only one i found in my price range, untouched, was the one i have now. Man, i knew half the stuff i know now, i could have saved a couple hundred dollars on the car. But she's in good hands now and will be getting a transplant come this winter.

i think it's crazy that the nada site thinks that my rs is worth 11 grand. i could maybe get 5000 out of it if i was lucky and got someone who fell in love with it like i did. but there's no way i'm sellin it. a couple people have asked me how much i'd take for it, all i say is it's not for sale it's :owned:

I look at Ebay. It's only worth what someone's willing to pay for it. The insurance companies probably use those sites to determine the replacement value to come up with a premium, and then say the car's worth like 1/100th when it's time to pay up.
