I need major help! I have no brake lights. I have turn signals, parking lights, reverse lights, etc but no brake lights. One night, my brake lights would not shut off at all, so I pulled a fuse. I don't know which fuse I pulled, but I put it right back and now I have no lights. I have changeg the bulbs and that didn't fix it. I don't have a panel cover on my fuse box nor do I have an owners manual to show which fuse is what. Does anyone know what to do? My dad says that he can guarentee that there is a switch behind the pedal that needs to be reset, but I can't find that anywhere. I need help if anyone can give some. I got my car for my 16th birthday and I just recently turned 21 and am 2200 miles away from my dad (I would normally just have him look at it). My car is a piece of work, but I have no car payment so that is the only reason that I am trying to fix it myself. Please Help!

First I would re-check that fuse you pulled out and make sure it's not broken. If so, replace it with a good on, and if its ok, simply put it back in. I suspect the culprit is your brake light switch. If your brake lights would not turn off at one point, and are not working at all now, thats a sign of a faulty brake light switch. On my 89 thunderbird its located right above the brake pedal. I had a similar problem, but my brake lights would not turn on unless i stepped on the brake pedal really hard. After replacing the switch, the problem was solved..
