Grand Am Gt vs -----

Ok so I have a question here. I am about to buy a car that is better on gas for me and I also want a little pep to it. I s the 99 grand am gt faster then a 98 z24 or a 2005 cobalt in a race? Little help please.

dont know much aboot the Cobalt, but the GA GT weighs a little more than the Z24. the GT has the 3.4 and the Z24 has what, a 3.1? they're both quick, but what do u mean, fastr? top speed i'd say the GT. you cant always have great gas mileage if u want fast. I heard today the hybrid cars are getting 250 mpg! thats kick-a**!

If you're referring to a normal Cobalt (not SS) - then I'd say they both would probably take the GT off the line, but the GT would probably pull even / even a little more top end.

Yes it is just the cobalt 2 door. What about between a cobalt and the 98 z24. By the way I think the z24 has the 2.4 twin cam 4cyl.

I have never raced a Z24 in my 2001 Grand Am GT.
I have driven both, and I do believe the Grand Am is the faster car, but not by much.

My guess.....very close for all the cars.
