EGR check

Anybody knows how to check the EGR system (EGR valvae, EGR Solenoid).
I get DTC 32 (EGR open command did not change MAP sensor signal. Normal EGR flow should cause slight decrease in manifold vacuum which would change MAP sensor signal)
Any sugestions?

If engine is running rough and you suspect egr, disconnect vacuum line at egr valve and plug it with a pencil or dowel. Crank engine, foot on the brake, put in gear, press accelerator putting a load on engine to see if engine stumbles. If engine stumbles, it is egr problem.
