Buy a newer car with auto windows? j/k Look for a small set screw somewhere near the car door panel or some kind of push to lock mechanism

I have replaced the front speakers in my 05 and found the window levers a little tricky to take off. Just behind the lever (between door panel and lever on the post) there is a retaining clip that needs to be removed and the lever will pull striaght off. Hope this helps....
Cheers.

I believe that a body panel remover is a good tool to have, for any application. I'm planning on picking one up before I start some of my mods...and i guess you can use them just about everywhere on the car....also, i dont know how this will do, but if you get a screwdriver and wedge it up it might work...but dont quote me on that :)

believe it or not an shop towel can remove it from what I'v heard. take the towel, slide it behind the window crank, kinda wrapping it around it somewhat, I believe givit a "twist" and pull and the clip will come out with the rag. I''m going off of memory of something I read once so take it as you will.

Using a screw driver does not work (I tried that first) very limited space, but a tool with a 90 degree bend in it will work. As for the shop towel, it is very possible that will work because the clip is only a wire spring clip, nothing too strong, but the next time I have to take the door panel off I will try it and let you know the out come..

I have tried the towel method, and it worked for me, the thing came off easy. THANK YOU
