Spark Plugs for 350

I'm new to these forums so I'm not sure if I am in the right forum, nonetheless, here is my question.
I have just had a 1969 Chevy 350 re-built and had them put a slightly better cam than the original. I also plan on replacing the distributor with an electronic model. With this in mind can someone suggest which AC Delco spark plug I should use?

Please remember I'm a newbie at this stuff so my next question could be a dumb one. Anyway.........
My Chev. 350 is a 1969 with the old type distributor. I was given a free used distributor out of a 1978 Corvette 350. Can I just install in the 69 and away I go?????

Bob,
The HEI (High Energy Ignition) system will fit right in there. I would take it to a shop with a distributor machine (ask) and have them recurve it for a higher compression, non-catalyst engine. HEI distibutors typically have a very quick advance curve that can induce pinging, and they also will allow less "total" timing (limited travel). A good distributor guy can make it right.
You also need a true 12-volt source (points use a resistor wire). It plugs into the "BAT" terminal on the cap. The "TACH" pole accepts the wire from the tach that usually goes to the "-" side of the coil. The solder-less "spade" (female) connectors found at any hardware or auto parts store will work.
