Cooling System

Any tips on changing the engine coolant? Where are the block plug(s) located?...or can block be drained from bottom of thermostat housing?As for the radiator petcock...how is it loosened? Internal hex?...external hex? .etc.
Any tricks for bleeding the system when refilling the cooling system? e.g. best with front of car elevated?...is there a bleeder screw on the thermostat to facilitate bleeding?

Well, I can't be sure about the cooling system. I do know that the plugs on my 02 3.5 are located under the valve covers. On mine, after removing the acoustical cover I see two black covers on the front and rear of the engine. Each one of mine have seven bolts holding it in. Once you remove the covers you can see the spark plugs. Be careful though, the the coil packs connect "directly" in the spark plugs. You'll understand once you take the cover off. I know yours is a 4.0, but I'm pretty sure you have a similar setup.
