S4 is hung like a horse thats popped viagra compared to A4... i've driven 1.8t and its got sum pep for a 4-banger... theres potential with that car... but 2.7t is insane... i've got vids of RS4 (wagon version) spanking all sorts of cars. The car does 0-60 in 5.5 stock, and its a heavy car. If they didnt cost so damn much... around $40k new

Im noticing a Trend in bigger engines for future model Audi's... RS6 is insaane too! They're giving BMW quite a challenge. Hope the new S4 comes in a manual. Not like i'll ever afford it, but that doesnt mean i cant test drive it multiple times.

it's funny to watch the way makes deal with engines..
back in the day america wanted bigger and better,
and then it went to small and economy..
now it's on it's way back to power hungry..
which is good , and bad.. but i'm happy with it..
jeez, even honda.. the all powerful n/a 4 cyl god, is thinking of putting an 8cyl in the nsx.. .. did ya ever think you'd see the day ..

while the new v8 will put out more hp stock I feel the 2.7 is the better engine. It is highly modifiable and offers the torque at low rpms which I've really grown to appreciate. My friend has a 2001 a6 with the 4.2. I think it's a great engine for a sport sedan but feel the S4 without a turbo engine is just not the same. I think it would be better if the 4.2 was optional on the a4 and s4 still was a turbo.

im with sircursealot, real S4's do have five cylinders... ruS4 has a 2.2L with bhp of 227.... thats over a hundred hp per liter!!! very very few cars have ever reached that... plus there are so many mods to be done its unbelievable... if only i had another $20k or so to spend on my baby...

I think that the S4 is the sickest car out and i think it will be for a while. Not only is their look great but their performance is aswell. Its awsome how audi came up with such a great car.

Audi's make some of the best cars, and the S4 is a prime example of how they can put awsome performance in a beautiful package. I guess anyone would say that about their dream car but whatever I love it. Right now my ride is a 03 A4 1.8t Quattro and it does have some power for a 4 bangger in stock form so im happy as long as its a Audi. i like to think of it this way The Audi " 4 series" is the best.

Hey guys Audi will beat any car!!
I was just wondering if anyone has had good or bad expirences buying cars off ebay like me?
I got the Audi A6 2000 before Xmas and I'm very satisfied with my new toy.
It's pretty much flawless inside and outside from what i can tell
Has anyone or does anyone know someone who bought a car on ebay also?
Look at my Audi A6 pictures here

I worked on a '99 S4 a while back.. And got to drive it about a half mile up a dirt road to the bodyshop.. In the wintertime. It had excellent snow tires on it.. and tell ya what, that "quattro" system is unbelievable.. I horsed it a bit and could feel some great potential had I had more room to play, and overall I was VERY impressed with the feeling of quality/performance there.. Even though at the time I knew virtually nothing about Audi in general.

Hey ruS4speed I think you mean UR-S4's. You have your R and your U backwards. "UR" meaning original in german.
