91 motor and trans

did gm put the drive train on the 91 caprice in any trucks matching trans and all?????

I'm not sure, but I think the 700 R4 was a commonly used tranny in the Caprice, Trucks, Vans, and SUVs.... It depends what tranny you've got in yours. I have the 700 R4 in my '84 Caprice (but 84 and 91 are a lot different) '88 Chevy Van, and its in my buddie's '96 GMC Sierra

Well, here are the transmissions for the Caprice that I know of:

1982-1989, 700R4 on 262-cid V-6 and 350-cid V8
????-1989, 200R4 on 305-cid V-8

1990-1993, 4L60 (the 700R4 with a new name) on 305-cid V-8 and 350-cid V-8

1994-1996, 4L60E (electronically controlled 4L60) on 265-cid V-8 and 350-cid V-8

I don't know what other applications these transmissions were used for, I'm just a Caprice fanatic.

by any chance what you know what that trans good attrbutes are???
