After losing my serpentine belt and idle pulley my 99 rodeo 3.2 would not start so after several posts it was suggested that my problem was the timing belt. I had a mechanic take it apart and found that the serp belt had lodged under the timing belt case causing the belt to jump six teeth. I had that replaced with the tensioner and water pump. The car starts but cylinders 1, 3 and 5 do not fire. We switched the coils around and still had the same problem with the same cylinders. Only the left side hits. Checked the injector plugs for spray and pulse. Checked fuel pressure and flow as well as the spark plugs which do spark. Timing belt was removed to recheck and reinstalled on the same #2. with the same outcome. OBD code reads po300 random missfire. Anybody have any ideas. I'm thinking that there may be a problem with ground to computer but don't know.

Sounds like your valve timing is way off for the 1-3-5 side. You will need to find top dead center for cyl #1 with a wooden dowel thru the plug hole, pull the timig belt, set the valvetrain per the manual (I dunno off hand  ), and then re-install the timing belt.
