Installing Tach in 90 civic with 94 engine

I got a tach offline that came with crap instructions!! how do i install the tach in a 1990 civic with a 94 civic engine in it? i was told to hook it up thru the distributor... but there are 2 blue wires there.. also i dont know if thats tru. please help.
