1) when you the AC on, you loose power, so could you run a small hose (duct) into your intake to provide cold-air?
2) if you are heading west at 50 mph and you have a tail wind of 50+mph, is there any air going into the radiator?

In my opinion, yes, you will gain power doing so. But, the fact that your losing power from your A/C being on, the difference isnt going to be that great at all, and you wont be making out very good at all. In my opinion, keep your A/C off and buy you a cold air induction kit.
To your second question, anytime your driving, air is going into the radiator. When your going forward, air is there, so its gonna be pulled into the radiator, no matter which direction the wind is blowing as long as your in a forward motion.

If your not wanting the A/C to run into the car, then what is the point of having the A/C on? Could you not just get your better gas milage by turning the A/C off and driving with your windows down?

Maybe im not understanding. Whats the point of having the cold air from your A/C going into your induction instead of into your car? I would say do it with a 2 55 A/C. Keep the car's A/C off, roll both windows down and go 55 mph. If i'm not understanding this right, please explain it to me better and I may be able to offer some better advice.
When you turn the air on, you loose HP correct? to compensate the lose of HP, could I run a small tube into the intake to help gain what I lost? Not looking to for a performance gain for racing. I am in Calif, so air is needed on 100+ degree days.

ok, i see what your saying now. But if your not looking for performance, then whats the loss of a few HP? And also, when running a small tube, your gonna lose some of the air, if not alot of the air, that would be going into your car. My advice is to just deal with the loss. Cold Air Induction doesnt really add that much horsepower when you buy a kit anyways. So your little bit of air isn't gonna be that much power to notice.
