I live in Southern California and Take my 99 Tahoe 4x4 out on desert trails. It gets pretty dusty out there. I wants to bring the air intake higher up to keep it cleaner so the air filter doesn't clog.
The truck is prety much stock under the hood. Does anyone know of a snorkel kit I can install?

You need a Jeep. I could refer you to several for a jeep of any model or year. No way man, I've never seen any such thing for a Tahoe.
My only suggestion for an alternative would be to go with a K&N, and get one of those baggie things that they make for it. It's a cloth type baggie to put over the airfilter for extra dusty/temporary conditions. I can't vouch for the product. Never used it. I just know that it exists.
If you're the do it yourselfer, and got a pair..... make your own, and run it back into the cab. Nothing better for a motor than clean, cool air.

Thanks for the suggestion. Ever since I replaced by Cherokee with the Tahoe I've been finding myself with fewer and fewer accessories to play with.
I saw in 4wheel Parts magazine some guy with a home made snorkel made out of pvc piping, but I'm not that desperate.
I'l keep looking.
Thanks.
