Give Mike a break, he's from Atlanta

Americanmuscle, try searching on google.com for images showing engines and schematics and use them as reference material.

An obvious, if not particularly useful, answer. The truth about referance pics is that they require alot of searching, and almost never answer everything you want to know. Alot of stuff has to be inferred. Ferrari's at least are frequently well photographed. The only thing I wan't able to find myself for the F40 was pics of the brakes. Even so, the truth is there are almost always gaps in what you know (I once had the oppertunity to photograph a Testarossa undergoing maintanence on a lift with much of the skin removed- it still didn't fill in all the gaps I wanted).

So, do the best you can, and fake the rest. When can you really see both ends of a wire or hose, anyways? The reference pics you find will at least show you what is visible when the bonnet is lifted. Recreate what you see there, and that's usually plenty! Don't sweat the rest.

Or, if you're really dedicated (and granted, I'm not really one to talk here), Ferrari owner's manuals are an incredible resource for figuring out what those wires and hoses are. You can find them on ebay for most models for about $11 USD.

Oooo, it's back online. It was down for a week or two- I somehow suspect after being posted here, it got more traffic than than was desired. Anyways, click here:
