Hey I'm just going to get to my question i have a 1995 bmw 325i very clean and stuff but if you go outside the car and have the music on it kinda makes a rattling sound is this normal?? I wanna know how to get the door panel off without damaging it and i would like to know the wattage the front tweeters and the back kickers have and also what kind of after market stuff i can get for the audio system without ripping somthing out i want to keep it looking stock but have nicer speakers and possibly a sub box in the back any ideas on that? I really need some help with this i have no idea what my possiblitys are any info on this would be appreciated.

License plate vibrating?

Unscrew the door lock knob. Behind the door grab handle there are 2 tabs. Pry them out and remove the T-20 torx screws inside. Remove the trim around the door release handle by prying out and forward towards the front of the car. Then starting at the bottom, pull off the door panel and continue up the sides till all the clips pop out.

Each of the 4 corners of the car gets 15w from an amp located in the drivers side rear fender. But it's not that simple because the crossovers are built in to the amp, and the front speakers are all wired seperately coming out of the amp. If you wanna just replace the speakers, the most popular drop-in replacements are Infinity, Boston Acoustics, and MB Quart. The car takes a 5-1/4" woofer up front, and 4" in the rear.

There is no output for an amp/sub setup, so you have 2 choices. First, you can replace the stock amp with a multichannel amp that has speaker level inputs. Or you can just replace the head unit with one that has extra outputs for your sub amp. You can get more complex than these 2 choices of course, but they're the 2 cheapest ways to acheive what you want to do.

just checked the rattle is coming from the door for sure, loose bolt or somthing? the sound inside the car when the volume is really high has some crackling or distortion is this just from bad tweeters or wut? I found the amp and i think i will get a new one.....any ideas on a nice one? and one more question if i got a new amp is it easy to set up or is it going to be hard i have never set one up before

Just use a flathead screwdriver. I'm talking about the pull handle you use to open the door from the inside. It's in 2 pieces, the handle itself, and the black trim around it. Pry it out slightly, and while you have it pried out, slide it towards the front of the car.

If you're going with just 1 amp, get a 5 or 6 channel one. That way you get a channel per corner, plus one or two for the subs. BMW's are not easy car stereos to work with, especially if you don't have experience. I recommend that you have a professional install it for you. At the very least you will need the wiring diagram. Buy a Bentley service manual, the diagrams are in the back of the book.

ok I get the door now, but do you know the sizes of tweeters i need to buy for the door panels? If i kept the stock amp and put new tweeters in will i be able to just connect the wires or is it more complicated than that and where is a good site to buy some? just do a google search? o ya how do you get at the back speaker i have looked through the manual but it says nothing about them i noticed the 2 black boxes under it but i have no idea how to get in them Thanks
