Spark plug and wire performance upgrade??

Hi. I have a 2.5l inline 4 cylinder 1998 ford ranger.

I wanna do a tune up on it cause its at 137,000 miles and no tune up, lol.

I want to put Bosch Platinum +4 spark plugs and MSD spark plug wires in.

Just wondering if this will give me a noticeable performance boost or anythign special? You know because I have a 4 banger in all, the more power the better :)
