Im from mexico, and im thinking to buy a ford explorer 2000 xls. (120,000 KM)

Id like to know about you experiences with this SUV and if i need to review something in particular.

Id like to know if there is a place in internet where i can obtain the owners manual for this suv (free of course).

Does anyone know if there is a fuse for the windshield washer motor?

Yes, there is, I just bought an 02, and so far I like it and am about to test it on some north eastern PA roads soon. So we'll see how well the 4x4 works. Not sure, but if you are looking to get an EX, than at least makesure that you get it with the 4.0 ltr engine, the 3.0 is ok, but you will notice the lack of power. Check the underside of the EX, if there is ANY dirt or crud packed in under the chassis, RUN away. More than likely its been abused, also look for any signs of leaking seals and such, especially betweenteh engine and the tranny, that can get expensive. Look at it this way, if your about to spend a couple grand on a vehicle, you want it in the BEST condition you can find, I would recommend a dealer, that way you have a little leverage on getting things fixed, and warrentied.

i have a 2000 xls there is a fuse for the pump i think its fuse 12 if the fuse is not the problem post back i can help i just fixed mine turned out to be the relay

Hey MT. It is free and has a good manual. It is a copy of the original Ford that came with new vehicle. Use it quite often for fuse locations.

I have not used it yet but the site looks good.
I got it from BMFer-1 post yesterday.
Lot of good info in them owners manuals.
My wife has to read it everytime we get another car before she can drive or operate it.
