How Much Boost ??? Turbo Integra

I HAVE A TURBO WAITING FOR ME IN MY ROOM BUT I AM A LITTLE SHORT ON TIME SO I CANT PUT A HIGH PERFORMANCE CLUTCH IN. SO MY Q IS HOW MUCH BOOST CAN I RUN ON IT WITH OUT BURNING OUT MY STOCK CLUTCH ITS A GS-R I WOULD REALY APRICIATE THIS INFO

running even 5-6 psi is gonna put a lot of strain on your clutch...is your clutch still in decent shape? Also, the way you drive it is going to have an effect on the clutches life. If you run it hard all the time, dont expect it to last long...but if you only get on it once in a while, it might go a little longer before slipping up

My friend Marshall is running 13lbs of boost on a stock clutch and he hasnt had problems. I guess it all depends on the motor and the driver.

turbo isnt going to do much damage to the clutch. its the engine you want to worry about. on a stock engine you really dont want to give it more than 6-10 depending on the mileage. a new engine i wouldnt boost more than 7, but around 30k you could feed it around 9 safely. then lower it again as it gets older.
it has nothing to do with the driver (unless the driver drives slow and doesnt rev over 4000) on how long your engine will last.

but if the engine is built up enough you can give it a lot of boost. is this a daily driver? or just some weekend car? it depends on how many miles you usually put on it to decide how much turbo to give it.

I'm boosting at 5psi and my stock clutch it slipping already...Mind you, I only had 9425 miles on the clutch before the turbo went in. It will hold fine once you are in gear, but don't expect to do high rpm shifts much because it will not hold the power.
