Problem Code connectors 96 T-bird

I was wondering is if the connector for engine problem "self-tests" is the very small plug in the left corner in front of the shock tower.

usually it says diagnostics on it and it should be a grey case with about 5 wires in it,,and yes it is on the passenger side behind the shock tower,,,you have to use a meter and hook it up with a jumper going to a ground to do it yourself with out a scanner go to this link and it shows you how to hook it up to a volt meter and the slef test input and output to get your codes. http://autorepair.about.com/library/ts/obd-i/bl-dtcs-60.htm
